Indie-alternative musician Milo has shared his latest single ‘Noise Gone Dancing’, which will feature on the forthcoming anticipated album, How Do You Cope While Grieving For The Living? (August 2020). The album has a stellar team behind it, and includes producer Pete Prokopiw (Mumford & Sons, Florence & The Machine) and mixer Andy Savours (Sigur Ros, The Horrors, Arctic Monkeys.

Milo Gore shares, “‘Noise Gone Dancing’ is a song about two people who chose to love one another, rather than finding a love for themselves. Leading on from my single ‘Green Eyes’, a song about learning to dance on your own again, this next single felt incredibly fitting. There was so much untamed, unmanaged madness from us both, yet at the time, this erratic relationship was everything to me. Hindsight is such a beautifully cruel thing. The main thing I hope people take from this song is the importance of learning to accept yourself, before you look to love another. A line I learnt while in rehab… ‘A drowning man cannot save another man from drowning’.

Milo brings his personal journey to the forefront of his music, continuing where he left off with his  ‘Green Eyes’ music video storyline which revolves around Milo’s previous real-life relationship. The relationship did not survive as a result of drug addiction and Milo’s deteriorating mental health. The music video concludes with the couple separating, and the video’s lead character slowly moving down a healthier path.

‘Noise Gone Dancing’ tugs at the heartstrings with lyrical content that expresses sincere anxieties about temptation and the fear of losing sight of the main goal to full recovery, due to a moment of weakness.
