deadmau5 Gives Back At Charity Event

By Alex Brown - 21.11.16

The highly anticipated release of deadmau5's new album W:/2016ALBUM/, Joel Zimmerman took an afternoon to drop by the Halton police's 17th annual Toys for Tots Holiday Campaign in Toronto on the weekend.

Hamilton Community News reported that after seeing a tweet from the police announcing the Christmas toy drive in his community, Zimmerman rocked up at Oakville’s Canadian Tire with a shopping cart full of toys for last-minute donation. The Halton police the Salvation Army were understandably uplifted by the gesture.

Earlier in the day, Zimmerman's label mau5trap announced that W:/2016ALBUM/ was officially available for pre-order, simultaneously releasing a fresh new track featuring Grabbitz called "Let Go" for streaming and downloading.

Take a listen to "Let Go" below and be inspired by giving back while you do! Pre-order the new album for someone you love at smarturl.it/2016album.
